Autumn path

To everything turn turn turn …

It’s about to get colourful around here, differently colourful I should say, as the greens turn yellow, orange, and red, and just as I used an orange/red base for the green foliage, I’m using green for this one. This is a long downward path under an arch of trees with light splashing down through gaps in the foliage above.

I’ll be doing some inventing when I start filling in the structure and the palette because these leaves don’t turn red and the ones on my vine haven’t begun yet. So here’s the glitch function in PhotoDirector.

15th September. Is anyone getting a Hockney vibe off this?

This is taking shape and I can see where I can add leaves and colour to solidify the path and establish the trees.

The vanishing point looks far better now, much more convincing; and the red leaves are coming on. The glimpses of bright yellow and green through the trees work better than I could have imagined, despite setting things up that way! I think the smudge effect on the leaves at the right hand side needs to go. Magical realism?

I’m a psychologist not a psychoanalyst so don’t even start!
