
This is another reclaimed canvas, a little smaller than the previous one. Again, I’ve used the buff primer as the ground because there was something about that which really popped the white headgear, and goodness me, isn’t this a piece of prime frillage! The doll is reputedly French but I couldn’t say from what era so I’ve kept her in the same slot as the Dutch doll which allows me to see her as an understated resistance fighter.








She became angrier as the painting progressed and in the last one below she is a seriously grumpy aunt!




The grumpy aunt will not last, she needs to be two iterations back for her story.

3rd July. Edited her face then conceptualised the frilled lizard first in Rebelle 7 with a background frill, then in Flamepainter for depth of dramatic colour, and finally in MotionLeap for animation. YouTube seems to be having a problem with it, the checks it’s running generally take seconds but it’s been pondering this for several minutes.
