I’ve always cropped and tidied up my AR targets but this time I’d given away as a gift the actual painting and only had a photo with some paper surround to work with. So I cropped it and uploaded it to iCloud but, mysteriously, MotionLeap couldn’t access it. The upshot is that the AR includes the surround and guess what – the AR moves into that area giving an impression of 3D!
