3.2 Project #4 Buttercups

Bright pouring paint allowed to make its own way across this canvas. Tiny scratches of watercolour pencil trailing from edges.
Not quite the second iteration – that had been rather bright and a little too cutesie with its petals picked out. This has had a flood of dilute Payne’s Grey applied.

Caught sight of this with the light behind it and it’s an entirely new painting.

Daylight, sunlight; new again:

There will be an extension next door shortly and a series of small ‘stained glass’ canvases up there might change the feel of the view. Should also clean the windows [cough].

29th May. Grandly titled Pillars of Creation, this small canvas, seen from a distance, is less stellar than rock-n-roll amphibian. Meet Bonzo Frog.
