Painting in progress – video clips

Live as-it-happened video made by stitching together 30 second bursts of film taken by a Blink motion-activated security/wildlife camera. Absolutely not a how-to-paint video!

For anyone who watched this before this afternoon (16/04/2024) and thinks their memory has glitched, this is a new version with some extra images at the end.

The painting is currently untitled.

Adur river
Tidal river becomes a long neck goose when I look at it a bit leftish,
one eye up, the other down.
Tilt a bit right and it’s a dragon with a Jupiter eye
and a shrub for a nostril.

If it weren’t for that minuscule canvas, there’d be no fantastical flaming breath, no thrum of beating wings,
And no loud honking in V formation.
Just a bend on a river bank.

Little things matter.

Conboy-Hill, 2024

The photographic elements and video below are made using PhotoDirector by Cyberlink. AR access is via Artivive. All materials are mine. There is no audio.

Below are two further versions, both with improvements to the titles and the second a 4:3 format so I can see how that works on phones.
